The "Edge Light" feature, first introduced in macOS, utilizes the edges of a MacBook's screen to provide illumination during video calls. Its purpose is to enhance facial lighting in low-light conditions by simulating the effect of a ring light.
While the code has been identified, the implementation appears to be in development. Reports suggest that the color temperature adjustment functionality, present in the Mac version, is not yet fully realized in the iOS version.
