iPad Air M4 priced below post-June increase levels

Retailers Amazon and Best Buy have reduced the price of the 11-inch iPad Air with the M4 chip to $649. This represents a $100 discount from the revised retail price that took effect in June, alongside broader price increases across Apple products. The 256GB model is available for $749 (typically $849), and the cellular-enabled version is priced at $799 (typically $899).

The price adjustment comes amid a general trend of increased costs for devices with higher memory and storage configurations. This sale offers consumers a chance to acquire the device at a lower price point than the recent hikes would suggest.

When released in March, the M4 iPad Air was reviewed as offering an experience largely similar to its predecessor. While its upgraded internals provide a performance boost and improved connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, the update was noted for lacking significant new features for users familiar with recent iPad Air models.
