IPANY Partners With ExtensisHR for Enhanced HR Solutions for New York Providers

The Independent Practice Association of New York (IPANY), a large association representing over 3,500 providers, has announced a partnership with ExtensisHR, a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and HR solutions provider. This collaboration aims to provide IPANY members with access to preferred health insurance pricing and a comprehensive suite of HR services.

The initiative is designed to ease the operational burden on independent practices by offering enterprise-level benefits and HR support typically available to larger organizations. IPANY's President, Michael Ruiz de Somocurcio, stated that the partnership allows providers to concentrate more on patient care by reducing administrative tasks.

Through the agreement, IPANY members will gain access to favorable pricing with Anthem and Aetna, two major health plans in New York. This is intended to help independent practices offer competitive employee benefits while managing costs effectively.

ExtensisHR will also provide an integrated suite of HR solutions, including payroll, tax administration, compliance, and risk management. This consolidated approach aims to streamline operations for healthcare providers across New York State.
