Apple's iPhone 18 Pro models are being offered at a discounted price in China. The devices, initially priced at 9999 yuan (approximately $1370 USD), are now available for 8959 yuan (approximately $1225 USD) through a combination of a 10% government subsidy and an offer from e-commerce platform JD.com.

Similarly, the iPhone 18 Pro Max has seen a price reduction, now available for 10444 yuan (approximately $1430 USD) after a 500 yuan subsidy. Both models are eligible for a 12-month interest-free installment plan.

These subsidies currently apply only to the 256GB storage variants of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Further details on eligibility and other storage options are available through the retailers.

The move comes as Chinese consumers benefit from government incentives aimed at boosting domestic spending on electronics. Promotions, such as JD.com's upcoming 11.11 shopping festival, are expected to drive further sales.
