iQIYI Reports Strong H1 2026 Content Performance

Chinese entertainment streaming service iQIYI has announced robust performance metrics for its content offerings during the first half of 2026, further solidifying its market position.

In its drama segment, iQIYI released 10 out of 16 new long-form dramas that achieved S+ ratings from third-party data platform Enlightent. Three of these dramas surpassed 10,000 on iQIYI's popularity index, including the historical romance "Pursuit of Jade," which recorded a peak index of 10,604 and a 55.1% viewership market share according to Enlightent. The crime drama "The Punishment" and the absurdist crime drama "Born with Luck" also exceeded 10,000 popularity points.

On the variety show front, three productions earned S+ ratings from Enlightent. These included "Wander Together," "HAHAHAHAHA 6," and "Become a Farmer 4." Notably, "HAHAHAHAHA 6" set a new peak popularity index record for long-running seasonal intellectual properties and topped the variety show chart 68 times during the period.

The platform's success extended beyond dramas and variety shows. Original Chinese animation viewing duration surged 98% year-on-year, with playback volume growing 63%. The micro-drama library surpassed 50,000 titles. Furthermore, iQIYI's original online movies broke platform records for both popularity index and audience ratings. In children's content, the platform held a leading market share for effective playback time, as per Enlightent.

These results underscore iQIYI's consistent delivery of high-quality and diverse content, reinforcing its role as a primary destination for entertainment streaming in China.
