iQIYI Unveils Over 350 New Titles, Deepens AI Integration

Chinese online entertainment platform iQIYI announced over 350 new titles for the 2026–2027 period at its iJOY Conference in Shanghai. The announcement underscored the company's commitment to its "All in AI" strategy, aiming to reshape long-form content production and foster a creator ecosystem.

Founder and CEO Yu Gong outlined three strategic priorities for the company's AI agenda: applying AI in premium live-action and long-form AIGC production, building a healthy creator ecosystem, and pioneering new content formats. Gong also introduced seven dedicated creator service programs designed to make the platform a community where creators can be seen, earn sustainably, and receive recognition.

Chief Content Officer Xiaohui Wang highlighted three major shifts reshaping China's film and television industry: a move towards broad creative participation, increasing niche demand, and the premiumization of emotional value. Wang suggested these shifts would address issues like audience fragmentation, limited creative scope, and rigid cost structures.

iQIYI also revealed a trailer for "Immortals Over Mortal Love," its first full-length hybrid AI drama series. The production utilizes the company's proprietary NadouPro studio-grade platform. The first season is slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Additionally, the "2026 iQIYI Scream Night" event is scheduled for December 5 at the Galaxy Arena in Macao. Under a strategic partnership, the event will return to the venue for a three-year residency through 2028.
