iQOO 16 Phone's Screen Specifications Detailed
The iQOO 16 smartphone will feature a new 2K display with a 165Hz refresh rate, supporting high refresh rates for over 50 popular games.
iQOO has detailed the screen specifications for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 16. The device will incorporate Samsung's M16 luminous material and 2K LEAD 2.0 display technology, marking the first instance of this combination in the Android market. This technology enables a 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, reportedly achieving up to 31% lower power consumption than a comparable 1.5K screen.
The screen is designed to support a 165Hz refresh rate in over 50 popular games across genres like MOBA, FPS, and racing. It will also extend high refresh rate support to over 100 daily applications, including social media, shopping, reading, music, and video platforms.
Key display features include a manual peak brightness of 1100 nits, a global peak brightness of 2800 nits, and a local peak brightness reaching up to 10,000 nits. Additionally, the iQOO 16 will feature a new AR anti-reflective film to reduce glare and enhance display clarity.
Previously announced, the iQOO 16 is also set to be among the first devices to feature Qualcomm's sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Supreme processor, revealed at the Snapdragon Summit.
