IQVIA Selects Veeva Clinical Operations Applications
IQVIA has selected Veeva CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup, and Site Connect applications as enterprise standards for its clinical development studies. This extends a previously announced EDC partnership.

IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) and Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) have expanded their partnership, with IQVIA choosing Veeva CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup, and Site Connect as enterprise-wide standard applications for its clinical development studies. This agreement deepens a prior partnership involving Veeva's electronic data capture (EDC) solutions.
The expanded collaboration aims to enhance efficiency and streamline clinical trial processes for IQVIA. The initiative is also intended to strengthen the role of clinical sites and accelerate patient access to novel treatments. Veeva's clinical solutions will also be available through IQVIA for sponsors looking to implement a full Veeva technology stack.
"By uniting our companies' strengths, we provide clinical teams with a more connected way of working, built on the seamless integration of our respective technologies," said Richard Staub, president of Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA. "Equally important, customers retain the ability to choose the EDC, RTSM, and eCOA technologies and solutions that best meet their needs, including IQVIA’s own innovative capabilities."
Veeva founder and CEO Peter Gassner also commented on the development. "This is an exciting evolution of the partnership announced last year between IQVIA and Veeva and the work we have accomplished together since then," Gassner stated. "We are committed to supporting seamless integration of products and services for the benefit of our customers and to improving patient access to innovations."
