Israeli Agtech Startup BloomX Secures $13 Million in Series A Funding

BloomX, an Israeli agtech startup specializing in pollination systems for farms, announced it has secured $13 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Elah Fund, bringing the company's total funding to $20 million.

Founded in 2019, BloomX offers robotic and electric field-based pollination systems through a "Pollination-as-a-Service" model. The technology is designed for crops such as blueberries and avocados.

The company states its technology can help stabilize blueberry yields and boost avocado production. This comes as growers face challenges with climate change and declining natural pollinator populations, seeking more reliable methods for crop pollination.

BloomX plans to utilize the new capital to expand its operations in Peru, Mexico, South Africa, and Israel. The company also intends to enter the US and other Latin American markets.
