Chinese technology firm IT Home, also known as 大眼橙 (Dayan Cheng), has launched its new foldable AI glasses, the Q1, in collaboration with DingTalk. Priced starting at 1299 yuan (approximately $180 USD), the device is designed for enhanced office productivity, particularly in meeting transcription and integration.

The AI glasses feature a lightweight pure titanium frame, weighing as little as 28 grams. They come in five frame styles catering to various aesthetic preferences. A key innovation is the patent-pending foldable temple design, which allows for flexible adjustment to fit different face shapes and addresses common comfort issues associated with AI glasses.

Audio capabilities include a three-microphone array (one directional, two omnidirectional) capable of capturing sound up to 8 meters away. The directional microphone focuses on the wearer's voice, while noise-canceling algorithms ensure clarity in noisy environments. The omnidirectional microphones capture ambient sound, suitable for large meeting rooms. Custom large-amplitude speakers provide audio output for calls and music.

Battery life offers 80 hours of standby time or 11.5 hours of continuous music playback. Interaction is facilitated by head gestures, such as nodding to answer calls and shaking the head to hang up, with layered vibration feedback for notifications. A privacy-focused "trace-less mode" prevents the storage of raw audio files.

The glasses offer deep integration with DingTalk's office suite. Device binding can be done through DingTalk, Qianwen Office, or QwenNote without requiring a separate app. Transcribed meeting content can be directly linked to DingTalk's calendar, to-do lists, and multi-dimensional tables, streamlining workflows from information capture to task completion. The AI glasses are set to be available for purchase starting November 10.
