IT Home: Changjiang AI+ Joint Innovation Center Opens in Shanghai
Shanghai's Qingpu District and Huawei have officially launched the Changjiang AI+ Joint Innovation Center. The facility will focus on artificial intelligence and its applications within the Yangtze River Delta ecological integration demonstration zone.
The Changjiang AI+ Joint Innovation Center in Shanghai's Qingpu District was officially put into operation on July 27. The center is a collaboration between Qingpu District, Huawei, and its ecosystem partners.
The facility, located at 399 Yunding Road in Qingpu New Town, covers approximately 5,400 square meters. Its core technical framework is built around a "6+1" architecture designed to drive innovation across multiple technology domains.
The "6" functional pillars include centers for open-source HarmonyOS application innovation, Kunpeng and Ascend innovation, industrial collaboration, AI application innovation, embodied AI, and a Star-Light open laboratory. The "+1" component is a public computing power service foundation.
This center aims to serve as a comprehensive platform for testing new technologies, incubating hardware innovations, showcasing application scenarios, and fostering an ecosystem for innovation. It is intended to work in tandem with the nearby Xicen Huawei research center to create a complete innovation loop from fundamental research to application development.
