Chinese technology news outlet IT Home reports the deployment of 1,000 new smart electric bikes by Haro in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. This initiative aims to enhance safety and promote green mobility within the city, particularly during the lead-up to the "Sixteenth National Games".

The new electric bikes are equipped with a newly upgraded 5-inch high-definition interactive smart screen. This integrated display provides full Amap navigation capabilities with high-precision positioning. Riders can follow routes directly on the screen, eliminating the need for separate mobile device navigation and thereby improving riding safety.

These vehicles are the first of their kind nationally to run on the OpenHarmony operating system. The smart bikes also support various intelligent features, including Alipay one-touch unlocking, route planning initiation from a mobile phone, visual parking guidance, and time notifications. A "one-click return" feature is also available via a dedicated button on the handlebars.

Haro's initiative in Baotou aims to provide a convenient and technologically advanced transportation option for residents and visitors. The introduction of these 1,000 units represents a significant investment in the city's urban mobility infrastructure and its adoption of smart technologies.
