IT Home Launches 245W GaN Power Adapter
IT Home has introduced a new 245W Gallium Nitride (GaN) power adapter, offering a smaller and lighter design compared to previous models. The adapter is set to go on sale on October 8th for 249 yuan.
Chinese technology firm IT Home has launched a new 245W Gallium Nitride (GaN) power adapter. The device is scheduled to be available for purchase starting October 8th at 10:00 AM local time, priced at 249 yuan.
The new adapter is approximately 30 percent smaller and 28 percent lighter than the company's previous 240W adapter. It measures 82x82x33mm and weighs around 449.7 grams. This compact design aims to provide substantial power in a more portable form factor.
Equipped with a three-pin grounded plug, the adapter comes with a 1.5-meter DC power cable with a 5.5x2.5mm connector. The cable features a thicker core and built-in shielding to support high-load scenarios, such as "Beast Mode" or "Combat Mode" on compatible laptops.
The power adapter is designed for compatibility with several IT Home laptops, including models in the "Dou Zhan Zhe" (roughly translated as "Fighter") series. This ensures it can deliver sufficient power for demanding tasks and performance modes on these devices.
