IT Home Launches High-Performance Mini Workstation With New AMD Processor
Chinese tech outlet IT Home has launched a flagship mini workstation featuring the new AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor. The device offers significant memory and storage capacities.
IT Home, a Chinese technology publication, has announced the availability of its YO2 flagship mini workstation, powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor. The device is priced at 49,999 yuan (approximately $6,850 USD) and comes equipped with 192GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD.
The mini workstation utilizes AMD's Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495, built on the Zen 5 architecture, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads. It includes integrated Radeon 8065S graphics and an NPU capable of 55 TOPS of AI performance, with a total compute power reaching 131 TOPS. The processor can handle power outputs up to 160W.
The YO2 model is outfitted with 192GB of LPDDR5X memory operating at 8533 MHz, of which up to 160GB can be dynamically allocated as dedicated video memory. For storage expansion, it provides three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots. Connectivity options include two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. It also features HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 outputs.
Networking is handled by dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. A fingerprint recognition module is also integrated. IT Home highlights the system's capability to chain up to four units, potentially offering 640GB of video memory for running large-scale quantized language models. The power consumption is dynamically adjustable across three tiers: 55W, 85W, and 120W.
