IT Home Launches Manus 2.0 and Cue Assistant for International Users
IT Home has released Manus 2.0 and the new personal assistant Cue for international markets. The company is currently developing a product for the Chinese domestic market and collaborating with domestic model vendors.
Chinese technology firm IT Home has launched Manus 2.0 and a new personal intelligent assistant named Cue. These products are initially targeted at international users.
The company, also known as Beijing Butterfly Effect Technology Co., Ltd., announced that it is assembling a team to develop a product for the Chinese domestic market. Collaboration with Chinese AI model manufacturers and ecosystem partners is progressing steadily.
Manus 2.0 is available on web, desktop, and mobile platforms, with Cue launching concurrently. Manus 2.0 features a self-developed Agent framework called Cascade, which reportedly reduces token consumption and speeds up task completion. The service also includes a cloud computer feature, allowing processes to run continuously even when a user's device is closed.
Automation capabilities have expanded to include event-triggered workflows, such as updates from emails, calendar events, or messaging services. Manus Studio, an upgraded desktop application, offers a shared workspace for humans and AI, supporting various file formats and software development. Video editing and game development environment features have also been updated to leverage AI.
The Cue application operates independently and can perform tasks like sending messages, staying within budget, and completing assignments. Multiple Cue agents can collaborate in group chats to manage more complex projects. The application is currently in early access and available via invitation.
