IT Home Launches New 425L Mijia Refrigerator with Ionic Purification

Chinese tech company IT Home has launched a new Mijia 425L cross-door refrigerator equipped with an all-area ionic purification system. The appliance is available for 1999.2 yuan after government subsidies, down from its regular price of 2699 yuan. This new model aims to meet the needs of modern households with its efficient storage and advanced air purification capabilities.

The refrigerator boasts a total capacity of 425 liters, divided into 14 storage zones. This includes a 215-liter refrigerator compartment, a 155-liter freezer compartment, and a 55-liter variable temperature zone. Its dimensions are designed for seamless integration into kitchen cabinetry, measuring 59.7cm in depth, 70.2cm in width, and 185cm in height. The unit achieves a flush fit with cabinets and requires only a 4mm gap at the sides, minimizing dust accumulation.

Key features include an Ag+ silver ion antibacterial and deodorizing module, which IT Home claims achieves 99.99% antibacterial rates in both the refrigerator and freezer sections against common bacteria. The variable temperature zone offers three distinct settings: a dry goods mode, a maternal and infant mode at 4°C suitable for breast milk, and a 0°C mode for short-term storage of fish and other perishables. Additionally, it incorporates a -30°C deep freeze function for rapid chilling that preserves food quality.

The appliance features a metallic panel finish that is resistant to fingerprints and scratches. It meets China's new national standard for energy efficiency (Class 1), with a rated power consumption of 0.82 kWh per 24 hours and an operating noise level of just 34 decibels. Smart functionalities are integrated through the Mijia App and support for the Xiaai voice assistant, enabling features such as food management and intelligent energy saving.

IT Home has also highlighted the availability of government subsidies for this appliance, which offer a discount on the purchase price.
