IT Home: Manufacturer Extends Free Pedal Upgrade Program to S800 Model
The manufacturer is expanding its free brake pedal replacement program from the V800 model to also include the S800. Upgrades are expected to be completed by November.
Chinese tech portal IT Home reports that a vehicle manufacturer is extending its free brake pedal replacement program to include the S800 model. This initiative, initially offered to owners of the V800, will now also be available for the S800 "Collection Grand View" variant.
The company announced in early October that it would provide free brake pedal upgrades for V800 owners following public concerns and tests regarding the component's durability. While the manufacturer maintains that its braking systems meet and exceed national and industry standards, it committed to optimizing the part's design and offering users the option for a free upgrade.
According to the latest information, the free upgrade is not limited to the V800 model. A social media user stated they received notification that their S800 "Collection Grand View" can also have its brake pedal replaced for free, with the process expected to be completed around November.
Investigations into the brake pedal test results reported by outlets such as Douche Di are ongoing. The company has engaged third-party testing agencies to verify the safety and compliance of its components with relevant standards.
