Chinese tech outlet IT Home reported on August 7 that new gameplay demonstrations for several anticipated titles will be unveiled later this month. These include "Akira USA Story" (original title "昭和米国物语"), "Metro 2039" (original title "地铁 2039"), and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4" (original title "使命召唤:现代战争 4").

"Akira USA Story" is an action role-playing game developed by Suzukon Game Studio, slated for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC. The game is set in an alternate reality where Japan's economic bubble never burst, leading the nation to acquire large parts of the United States and turn it into a "cultural colony." The protagonist, who dies at an airport, awakens later in a distorted, post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.

"Metro 2039", a first-person shooter developed by 4A Games, marks the fourth main installment in the "Metro" series. Set in 2039, 25 years after a nuclear war, players assume the role of a hermit forced to return to the dark core of the Moscow Metro. Its release is planned for February 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4", a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, will feature three core modes: campaign, multiplayer, and DMZ. The game is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 23 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement regarding the new game demonstrations was made via Bilibili's official social media account, generating anticipation within the gaming community for the upcoming releases.
