Chinese technology news outlet IT Home reported on September 24 that its self-developed "Original Force-110" liquid oxygen kerosene engine has successfully completed a long-duration, full-engine test firing.
The engine is designed to power IT Home's "Gravity 2" rocket, a large reusable liquid-propellant launch vehicle. This testing phase focused on iterating and optimizing the engine's core components and system solutions, verifying the precision of start-up and shut-down sequences, and the stability of the injector. The test was characterized as safe and efficient, with all key parameters meeting design expectations.
The "Original Force-110" engine has a sea-level thrust of 110 tons and features a wide throttling range from 40% to 110% of its maximum thrust. Its design goal is to be reusable for more than 20 missions.
IT Home stated that the engine's development has now entered the reliability verification stage, laying the groundwork for future mass production and flight deployments.
