IT Home has officially launched its fnOS Harmony native client application in Huawei's App Gallery today.
The new HarmonyOS native client, version 1.33.6, provides complete functionality without any compromises, fully matching the capabilities of the Android version. IT Home has stated that their fnOS player and music applications will also see independent native releases for HarmonyOS in the future.
The application's new version supports HEIC format images and animated GIFs with lossless backup. It integrates seamlessly with HarmonyOS animations, making gallery browsing smooth and responsive. The sharing function utilizes HarmonyOS's native sharing panel, enabling one-click transfer of photos, videos, and files to fnOS.
For audio playback, fnOS supports real-time display in a "Dynamic Island"-like interface and allows quick song switching and pausing from the notification center. The client application is also compatible with HarmonyOS computers, supporting photo backup from the desktop, touchpad operations, and shortcut commands for video playback. For video viewing, it integrates HarmonyOS system-level casting and a native picture-in-picture mode.
