Chinese technology firm IT Home has launched its N1 and N1 Pro series of AI glasses, aiming to shift AI from passive waiting to proactive service for individuals. The N1 series starts at 2899 yuan (approximately $380 USD), with the N1 Pro model beginning at 3399 yuan (approximately $460 USD).
The N1 glasses focus on imaging, active sensing, and replaceable batteries, designed for first-person perspective recording. The N1 Pro model builds upon this with five new capabilities: high-precision eye-tracking interaction, financial-grade iris recognition for payments, and all-day health monitoring. Health features include collecting metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen, and skin temperature, offering AI-driven health interpretations and emotional therapy.
Both AI glasses are equipped with a triple-core heterogeneous computing platform and a 50-megapixel sensor system supporting 4K video recording and image stabilization. They feature all-day active sensing for automatic meeting notes and travel reminders, with built-in AI applications for functions like translation and AI memos.
The glasses utilize a dual, hot-swappable battery design. The N1 offers a comprehensive battery life of nine hours, while the N1 Pro lasts eight hours. Both allow for battery replacement in the temple arm at any time. The devices are launching in China with various package options and potential government subsidies.
