Chinese technology firm IT Home has released the Aura A1 smartphone, notable for its compact 4.7-inch LCD display. The device aims to cater to users preferring smaller phones and starts at a price of 1399 yuan (approximately $190 USD). The Aura A1 is equipped with MediaTek's Helio G100 processor, built on a 6nm process with an octa-core architecture, and is available in white, black, and pink color options.
The smartphone comes with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The 4.7-inch screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, with a peak brightness of 600 nits. It includes dual speakers and a 1900 mm² VC cooling system to manage heat. An AAC X-axis linear motor is incorporated to enhance haptic feedback.
Powering the Aura A1 is a 3550mAh battery that supports 18W PD fast charging. The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main sensor (OmniVision OV64B40) and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera (Samsung S5K3P3). The phone has a flat camera design on the back and weighs approximately 150 grams. The body features a matte AG frosted finish.
Additional features include NFC support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an infrared remote control function. A dedicated physical 'Zhi Ling' button allows for quick app launches or function toggles. The device runs on Fox OS, customized from Android 16.0. The 8GB+128GB variant is priced at 1399 yuan, while the 12GB+256GB version is set at 1699 yuan for its initial release.
