IT Home (China) has initiated the rollout of a comprehensive OTA (Over-The-Air) update for its entire 智界 vehicle range, including V9, R7, and S7 models. This update brings a host of new functionalities and experience optimizations designed to enhance the driving and parking experience.

The update introduces "Urban Roaming Cruise" (城区漫游巡航), a feature allowing autonomous driving capabilities without active navigation. This function supports traffic light recognition, continuous intersection passage, and automatic lane changes, aiming to provide a more relaxed driving experience in urban environments. It's important to note that this feature, alongside another new parking-related function, is available on specific configurations of the V9, R7, and S7 with advanced driver-assistance systems.

Further enhancing the autonomous capabilities, the "Park Roaming Cruise" (园区漫游巡航) feature enables autonomous driving within parking lots and industrial parks. This includes automated parking maneuvers, with options to select the nearest spot or drive to a designated spot along a route. The new "Position Holding Parking" (守位泊车) function assists during parking by detecting approaching vehicles from behind and adjusting the parking trajectory and turn signal usage to secure the parking spot.

Additional features include an automatic anti-rear-end collision system for highway driving, "space-to-space" navigation for parking lots and charging stations, and an "Extreme Steering" (极致转向) function that reduces the turning radius at low speeds for improved maneuverability. The update also includes improvements like the ability to resume navigation after a temporary shutdown and intelligent charging pile parking. The availability of these features may vary by specific vehicle configuration and model.
