IT Home: Shangjie Z7/Z7T Receives National Day OTA Update

IT Home reported on September 30 that Shangjie Automotive, a brand under IT Home, has released a National Day Over-The-Air (OTA) update for its Z7 and Z7T car models. The update brings three major improvements and over 20 experience enhancements.

The update includes an upgraded user interface, featuring a new parking voice assistant package associated with actor Xiao Zhan. Enhancements to safety features and navigation settings are also included to improve the travel experience. Additionally, optimizations have been made to various details to enhance user comfort.

Key technical upgrades include a new function to prevent accidental steering inputs. The system will detect if the driver's attention wanes at speeds above 60 km/h while NCA or LCC is active, increasing steering torque to ensure driver intervention. The vehicles also gain a visual alert during steering maneuvers: a red halo appears on the HUD edge if a rear-side alert is triggered while the turn signal is active.

Further additions allow external voice control for the tailgate and panoramic roof, along with adaptive screen following. The steering wheel scroll wheel can now manage VoIP calls from applications like WeChat, Feishu, and DingTalk, enabling users to answer, hang up, and adjust volume. The group travel function has been upgraded to version 2.0, supporting real-time voice intercommunication among all members and optimizing team joining and switching processes.
