IT Home Team Members Robbed in Italy
Several members of the Chinese "Zhang Xue" motorcycle team were victims of a robbery in Milan, Italy, while attending a competition. The incident has been reported to the police.
Multiple members of the "Zhang Xue" motorcycle team, associated with Chinese tech news outlet IT Home, were subjected to a robbery during their recent trip to Italy. The team had traveled to Milan to attend the 2026 WSBK motorcycle racing event.
According to reports from team members shared on social media, the bus they were traveling in was targeted by thieves. Stolen items reportedly include backpacks, clothing, sports cameras, cash, and power banks. While the exact number of affected individuals was not specified, the team has filed a police report regarding the incident.
The "Zhang Xue" team, comprising approximately 200 individuals including company employees, R&D personnel, and technology partners, traveled to Italy to support their racing competitors. During the WSBK event, drivers from the "Zhang Xue" team participated in the WorldSSP races.
The theft occurred shortly after the team's arrival in Italy. The "Zhang Xue" team had previously committed to attending events to support their racers. Local authorities are currently investigating the matter.
