IT Home: TianGong Omni wins 400m race for smaller humanoids

The robot TianGong Omni secured victory in the 400-meter race for smaller humanoids at the World Humanoid Robot Competition, completing the course in 45.66 seconds, according to IT Home.

TianGong Omni stands 1.35 meters tall and weighs 39 kilograms. Its design targets future applications in confined spaces, emergency rescue, and domestic services. The robot features an open development system with accessible APIs for joints, sensors, and the operating system, aiming to reduce development barriers and costs for third-party innovation.

This win for the smaller humanoid occurred on the same day that the company's larger robot, TianGong Ultra, won the 400-meter race for larger humanoids with a record-breaking time of 38.15 seconds, surpassing previous human records for the distance.
