IT Home, a Chinese technology firm, has announced the upcoming release of Kling 4.0, the next iteration of its AI-powered video generation tool. The new version is slated for an October launch and promises significant upgrades in video output quality and content generation capabilities.
Kling 4.0 will support 4K and 1080p 10-bit HDR output, offering enhanced visual fidelity, especially in high-contrast scenarios. The tool allows for more complex inputs, including up to 10 images and 5 video clips in a single generation task, enabling the creation of up to 30-second videos with continuous narrative flow. Audio quality has also been enhanced, with improved spatial sound and more precise lip-syncing for character performances.
The update introduces advanced control features, including support for up to 15 multimodal references (images, videos, subjects) to guide the AI. Users can fine-tune video elements, styles, and even environmental conditions like weather. Kling 4.0 is also designed to analyze existing video content to understand narrative structure and visual language, aiding in the creation of new material.
An updated user interface aims to streamline the creative process, consolidating input options and offering flexible display layouts. The tool supports video extension capabilities, allowing for creations up to two minutes in length through sequential generation. A faster, more cost-effective version, Kling 4.0 Flash, is currently available for select users to test.
