The R9 headset weighs 236 grams and incorporates a "suspension pressure-distributing head beam" design. This system aims to evenly distribute pressure across the user's head. The earcups are adjustable in multiple dimensions, intended to provide a comfortable fit for extended use.
Audio capabilities include THX 7.1 surround sound, powered by 53mm triple-layer composite diaphragm drivers. IT Home claims the headset delivers a smooth, natural sound profile with solid bass, clear vocals, and detailed treble.
The headset also features three independent onboard preset sound profiles and intelligent memory tuning. These are intended to enhance the gaming experience by offering a wider soundstage and aiding in precise sound-based positioning of in-game elements.
