IT Home to Live Test Aito M9 Electric Range
IT Home announced it will conduct a live test of the Aito M9's pure electric range on July 14. The test will challenge the vehicle's ability to travel between Chengdu and Chongqing on a single charge.

IT Home announced on July 13 that it will conduct a live test of the Aito M9's pure electric range on July 14 at 8:00 AM Beijing time. The test is framed as a challenge to see if the vehicle can complete a round trip between the cities of Chengdu and Chongqing solely on electric power.
This marks the first public livestream test of the Aito M9's electric endurance. The Aito M9, part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Ecosystem (HIMA), was officially released on May 27. It is available in standard and extended wheelbase versions, starting at 479,800 yuan (approximately $66,000 USD). The vehicle reportedly achieved over 10,000 deliveries within three weeks of its launch, setting a record for the fastest delivery numbers in its price segment.
The press release detailed extensive chassis development and durability testing. Over 1,000 test vehicles reportedly accumulated more than 16 million kilometers under various conditions to ensure reliability. The company also emphasized the integration of user feedback and an experienced team in perfecting the chassis tuning.
The Aito M9 is a full-size SUV. The pure electric version offers a CLTC range of up to 750 kilometers, while the extended-range hybrid version boasts up to 1,405 kilometers. Its aerodynamic design features a drag coefficient as low as 0.249Cd, contributing to its efficiency and driving range.
The live test is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM Beijing time on July 14.
