Chinese technology firm IT Home has officially unveiled its new 玄戒 O3 chip, marking a significant advancement in memory technology. The chip was revealed at a company technical briefing.
The 玄戒 O3 chip supports LPDDR6 memory, enabling a data rate of 10667 Mbps. This configuration provides a memory bandwidth of 113.8 GB/s, a 48% improvement over the previous generation 玄戒 O1 chip.
This substantial increase in memory bandwidth is attributed to the adoption of LPDDR6, a next-generation memory standard designed for higher speeds. Such improvements are crucial for performance in demanding applications, including artificial intelligence processing.
Furthermore, the 玄戒 O3 chip incorporates IT Home's unified converged bus architecture. This design streamlines data flow and reduces protocol conversion overhead by up to 75%, contributing to overall system efficiency.
