Chinese technology news outlet IT Home has reported on the global debut of the Yijing X9 automotive, featuring Huawei's HarmonyOS-based HarmonySpace 6 in-car system. The vehicle is positioned as a flagship six-seat SUV for families and includes support for Huawei's ADS 5 autonomous driving system.

The car is equipped with dual 17.2-inch "butterfly wing" displays that utilize a soft-light technology and support content flow between multiple screens. It also features an upgraded "Xiaoyi" intelligent assistant with the MoLA 2.0 architecture, enabling multi-round conversations and recognition of ambiguous voice commands.

According to IT Home, the X9 model incorporates additional Huawei technologies, including HUAWEI XHUD (a head-up display), HUAWEI XPIXEL headlights, and the HUAWEI XSCENE laser projector. These features aim to provide an immersive entertainment experience both inside and outside the vehicle, with the projector capable of displaying content on a screen in the trunk for outdoor movie viewing. The system is described as supporting "three-finger, four-direction, five-screen flow."

HUAWEI's XSCENE projector utilizes a proprietary foldable lens for rapid setup of an outdoor cinema experience, marketed for use both inside and outside the vehicle.
