Chinese technology news outlet IT Home has revealed the specifications and pre-sale prices for the new Zhijiang RX electric vehicle. The Max Long Range version starts at 299,800 RMB (approximately $41,000 USD).
The Zhijiang RX is an all-electric coupe SUV built on Huawei's 'Talent' platform, designed to support future L3 autonomous driving capabilities. The vehicle measures 5020 mm in length, 2007 mm in width, and 1585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm.
Higher-tier Ultra and Ultra+ models include features like all-wheel drive, air suspension, and advanced sensor suites for autonomous driving. These versions begin at 359,800 RMB and 399,800 RMB, respectively. The top-tier Ultra+ features include a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and 22-inch performance tires.
Powering the Zhijiang RX is Huawei's new 'Jing Whale' battery platform and 'Zhixing' electric drive system. The vehicle emphasizes both performance and passenger comfort, incorporating features like advanced seating and a sophisticated infotainment system.
