IT Home's "Doubao" Now Supports Travel Services: Flights, Trains, and Taxis
Chinese tech company IT Home has enhanced its "Doubao" service with integrated travel functionalities. Users can now book flights, train tickets, arrange taxis, and access navigation features within a single platform.
IT Home's "Doubao" service has expanded to include comprehensive travel support, allowing users to book flights, purchase train tickets, hail taxis, and utilize route navigation all within the application. This integration covers both long-distance and local transportation needs.
The upgrade aims to streamline travel planning by consolidating various services into one interface. Users can express their travel requirements in natural language, such as requesting a flight from Beijing to Shanghai or ordering a taxi to the airport, without needing to switch between multiple apps. Doubao will interpret the request and execute the necessary service calls.
In addition to booking and navigation, Doubao has introduced a dedicated "Travel with Doubao" section. This feature highlights frequently recommended services across four key scenarios: navigation, transportation, accommodation, and dining, providing users with travel and trip suggestions.
The expanded travel capabilities are a result of deep collaborations with industry leaders. For flight and train bookings, Doubao partners with providers like Flight Manager and High-Speed Rail Manager. Taxi services are integrated through platforms such as Cao Cao Mobility, and navigation functions are supported by Baidu Maps, offering route planning for various modes of transport.
