IT Home's Doubao Work service has launched a new feature enabling users to migrate existing conversations and settings from other services, including ChatGPT.
Chinese technology company IT Home has released a new data import and synchronization function for its "Doubao Work" tool. The new feature allows users to transfer their existing conversations, skills, and memories from other AI services, such as ChatGPT, to Doubao Work.
Users can now import task preferences, skills, connectors, work memories, projects, and historical conversations with a single click. The imported data will be automatically archived into corresponding entries or lists. Historical conversations retain their original context, enabling users to continue dialogues within Doubao Work without needing to reconfigure settings or re-explain background information.
According to IT Home, this new functionality aims to enhance user experience and streamline workflows. The ability to seamlessly migrate data from competing services reduces the initial setup effort for users and facilitates a quicker transition to the new platform.
Additionally, Doubao Work has seen several experience optimizations. Users can now select "continue in a new conversation" on a specific message, with the existing context automatically carried over. The original conversation is preserved for review. The service also introduces message annotations and a conversation summary sidebar, further improving information management and retrieval efficiency in work scenarios.
