IT Home announced on July 16th that its integrated electromagnetic thermal control die casting component was awarded "Gold Award Casting" at the 2026 Shanghai International Die Casting Exhibition. The component was selected from 88 entries.

Integrated die casting technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in new energy vehicle manufacturing. IT Home's award-winning technology combines electromagnetic control with an in-mold nano thermal control layer. This system offers enhanced precision control over the casting formation process compared to traditional integrated die casting.

The process utilizes electromagnetic fields to improve the flow of molten aluminum, reducing gas entrapment caused by unstable filling. This results in a smoother and more uniform fill of complex molds, leading to lower porosity in large body castings. The in-mold nano thermal layer further regulates heat exchange during different stages of casting, improving cooling speed and consistency.

This technological advancement significantly reduces internal porosity in large die-cast parts, ensuring consistent quality across the component. When used with high-strength aluminum alloys, yield strength increases by over 55 percent. Furthermore, the integration merges 78 individual parts into one, reducing weld spots by 760 and achieving a 15.5 percent weight reduction.

IT Home states the technology has been applied to the rear floor production of the 智界 V9 model, particularly reinforcing the structure of the third row for the MPV. This approach signifies a move towards precise control in die casting, beyond relying solely on high-tonnage pressing.
