ITEBO-Unternehmensgruppe has announced that its clients are fully prepared for the implementation of the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) payment system. The company stated that the EU Commission's decision to extend the SEPA deadline by six months to August 1, 2014, is therefore of no consequence to its customers.

According to ITEBO, close collaboration between software manufacturers, clients, and the company's specialists has ensured that all financial procedures for ITEBO clients have been adapted and tested. Many clients are already operating productively within the SEPA framework and are processing payments under the new standard. The company cited an example where salary payments for 110 clients, totaling 80,000 recipients, were calculated and made SEPA-compliant within the past week.

Dr. Stephan Lütke Glanemann, SEPA Project Manager, confirmed that ITEBO clients' SEPA projects had a target date of February 1, 2014, and remain on schedule. ITEBO GmbH established a service data center in 2012, in coordination with banks and savings banks, to prepare and quality-assure the transition. The center reliably processes an average of €20 million in payments daily.

ITEBO-Unternehmensgruppe is an IT service provider offering software solutions and services, primarily focusing on financial management for public administration and businesses.
