ITEBO offers municipal digital services free of charge

ITEBO-Unternehmensgruppe, in partnership with the state of Lower Saxony, has launched an initiative to offer digital "Einer-für-Alle" (EfA) services to municipalities free of charge. This initiative aims to accelerate the digital transformation within public administration by providing standardized, high-quality online services.

The initial services being rolled out include "Ehe Online" for marriage registration and electronic residency registration. ITEBO has gathered experience from pilot customers and can now offer a standardized process for integrating these online services into existing municipal portals, such as OpenR@thaus.

The EfA principle is a key component in the implementation of Germany's "Onlinezugangsgesetz" (OZG 2.0), which mandates the digitalization of administrative services. EfA enables municipalities to offer citizen-centric, efficient, and sustainable digital services economically.

Benefits for municipalities include free access to services as part of Lower Saxony's digitalization strategy, rapid integration into existing systems, and scalability and further development through centralized EfA structures.
