This funding is intended to accelerate ITpipes' product development and its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The goal is to enhance the efficiency of inspection crews and provide municipalities and contractors with reliable data for maintenance planning and budget optimization.
The investment comes amid increasing demand for improvements to underground infrastructure. Reports from organizations like the American Society of Civil Engineers highlight significant investment needs for buried pipe systems, requiring accurate data for efficient budget allocation. ITpipes' software is already utilized by over 300 municipalities and contractors for data collection and management, adhering to key industry standards.
