International Workplace Group (IWG), a global provider of flexible workspace solutions, is expanding its business through a franchising model. The company is actively looking for partners capable of operating and developing five or more centres within a two- to three-year timeframe.

IWG positions its franchising opportunity as a low-risk investment within the growing flexible workspace market. Industry forecasts from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) suggest that flexspace could increase its share of the US office stock from under 5% to 30% by 2030. The adaptability of flexible spaces, allowing for scalable rental needs, is expected to maintain popularity among tenants, even during economic uncertainty.

With 30 years of experience and a network spanning over 3,000 locations worldwide, IWG offers comprehensive support to its franchise partners. This support includes onboarding, training for key personnel, access to dedicated customer service centres, IT and operational process assistance, and regular performance reviews. Measures have also been implemented to address safety and operational requirements in light of the pandemic.

CEO Mark Dixon stated that franchise partners are essential for IWG's goal of achieving national coverage across all towns, cities, and suburbs. This approach aligns with the increasing trend of remote and hybrid work models, supporting businesses regardless of their location.
