IXL Launches Virginia-Specific Learning Diagnostic
IXL Learning has released a Virginia-specific version of its LevelUp Diagnostic tool. The assessment measures student progress against state standards and provides targeted learning recommendations.
IXL Learning has introduced a new, Virginia-tailored edition of its LevelUp Diagnostic assessment. Developed to align with the state's Standards of Learning (SOL), the tool evaluates student proficiency and learning progression.
The assessment offers a "Virginia Standards Performance" report, giving educators direct insight into how students are performing on SOLs. The diagnostic takes approximately 45-60 minutes for math and English language arts, aiming to reduce traditional testing time and allow more focus on instruction.
LevelUp Diagnostic aims to connect current knowledge with future skills. Following the assessment, students receive personalized recommendations from IXL's curriculum to address identified learning gaps. A "Real-Time mode" is also available for continuous assessment and up-to-date student performance data.
IXL's educational platform is currently used by one in three learners in Virginia, encompassing nearly 70 percent of the state's school districts. The company provides a comprehensive K-12 curriculum, analytics, and assessment tools offered in multiple languages.
