JAC Motors has released its financial results for the first three quarters of 2026, reporting revenue of 34.37 billion yuan, an increase of 11.33% compared to the same period in 2025. Despite top-line growth, the automaker remains unprofitable, recording a net loss attributable to shareholders of 1.14 billion yuan.

For the third quarter alone, revenue reached 12.24 billion yuan, representing a 6.33% growth. The company reported a net loss of 392 million yuan for the quarter. While the bottom line remains negative, management noted a trend of narrowing losses quarter-over-quarter, supported by a rise in gross margins to 12.72% as the company shifts its product mix toward premium new-energy vehicles.

The firm is currently prioritizing the expansion of its high-end vehicle portfolio, including the Maextro brand developed in collaboration with Huawei. However, liquidity remains under pressure with a negative operating cash flow of 4.88 billion yuan, which the company attributed to increased capital commitments and production ramp-up costs. JAC Motors ended the period with an asset-liability ratio of 75.11%.
