Jacob Götzsche appointed CEO of Assemblin Caverion Group, Mats Johansson moves to Board

Assemblin Caverion Group announced on February 3, 2026, the appointment of Jacob Götzsche as Group CEO, effective immediately. Götzsche, previously Executive Chairman of the Board, will now assume full executive responsibility for the company's operations across all countries. He succeeds Mats Johansson, who will step down as Group CEO and join the Board, where he will also chair the Board’s Large Contracts Committee.

In conjunction with the leadership transition, Philip Carlsson has been appointed Deputy Group CEO while continuing in his role as Group CFO. Mikael Aro, Operating Partner at Triton, has been elected Chairman of the Board.

The Assemblin Caverion Group was formed on April 1, 2024, through the merger of Assemblin and Caverion, creating a leading Northern European service and installation group. The company initially operated under a dual leadership model with Johansson as CEO and Götzsche as Executive Chairman to manage the post-merger integration. This model proved successful, with the integration progressing faster than anticipated.

Götzsche, formerly President and CEO of Caverion, now takes on the executive leadership role. Johansson, who has led Assemblin since 2018, will contribute to the Group's strategic development from the Board. Carlsson's expanded mandate as Deputy Group CEO aims to support strategic execution and value creation throughout the Group.
