Jaguar Uranium Reports Rare Earth Oxides at Colombia's Berlin Asset
Jaguar Uranium Corp. announced assay results from its Berlin Uranium-Rare Earth Project in Colombia, indicating the presence of rare earth elements alongside uranium, vanadium, and phosphate mineralization in selected intervals.
Jaguar Uranium Corp. has reported the presence of rare earth oxides (REO) associated with uranium, phosphate, and vanadium mineralization at its Berlin asset in Colombia. Assay results from a historical drill-core resampling program revealed significant concentrations of these elements in selected intervals.
The company stated that one interval yielded 0.63 meters grading 3,570 parts per million (ppm) total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 607 ppm magnetic rare earth oxides (MREO). Other selected intervals also returned notable grades, including 1.53 meters at 2,267 ppm TREO and 0.50 meters at 2,532 ppm TREO.
The analyzed drill core was originally drilled between 2010 and 2012. Jaguar Uranium highlighted the potential of the Berlin asset as a critical minerals project in the Western Hemisphere, noting its alignment with recent US-Colombia critical minerals cooperation agreements.
The company is continuing its evaluation of the resampling program results and anticipates further information regarding the mineralized zone's extent and economic viability.
