James Bond Actor Ranking: Daniel Craig Not at the Top
PRISMA-Verlag's new ranking reveals the best James Bond actor, with Daniel Craig not securing the top spot.

PRISMA-Verlag has released a new ranking evaluating the performances of all actors who have portrayed James Bond. The list assesses everyone from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig to determine who best embodied Agent 007.
To many observers' surprise, Daniel Craig did not achieve the first position in this comparison. The ranking aims to objectively assess the actors' ability to inhabit the role, their charisma, and their impact on the character's iconic status in film history.
Barry Nelson and David Niven have been excluded from the ranking. Nelson portrayed James Bond as a CIA agent in the American TV series "Casino Royale" in 1954. David Niven played Bond in the 1967 comedy film "Casino Royale," which is not considered part of the official EON Productions Bond series.
George Lazenby, who appeared as Bond in only one film ("On Her Majesty's Secret Service"), is also mentioned. His performance earned a Golden Globe nomination and is noted for a more human and emotional interpretation of the agent.
