Jason Birney Appointed General Manager of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia

Cordish Gaming Group announced Jason Birney has been appointed Executive Vice President & General Manager of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. In this role, Birney will oversee all daily operations of the property, including gaming, hotel, food and beverage, marketing, and guest experience.

Birney brings over two decades of experience in the gaming industry. He most recently served as Head of Interactive Operations at Penn Entertainment, where he led the company's interactive portfolio. His background includes significant leadership roles at properties like Hollywood Casino Columbus and Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway.

The Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, located in South Philadelphia's Stadium District, is a gaming, dining, and entertainment destination. The property features approximately 2,000 slot machines, over 130 table games, a FanDuel Sportsbook, and a luxury hotel, along with multiple dining and entertainment venues.

Birney began his gaming career with Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City and has held various marketing and operational leadership positions throughout his career. He was recognized in 2018 on Global Gaming Business Magazine's "Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40" list.
