JCDecaux Achieves Top AAA Score in CSR Ranking
JCDecaux is the only company in the Media & Entertainment sector to receive an AAA score in MSCI's 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility rankings.

Out-of-home advertising company JCDecaux has once again secured the highest AAA rating in MSCI's (Morgan Stanley Capital International) 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rankings. The company is the sole entity within the Media & Entertainment panel to achieve this top score from MSCI in 2020, having held the AAA rating consecutively since 2018.
MSCI recognized JCDecaux for its robust governance and effective strategy in managing ethical, social, and environmental risks. Notably, the Group attained a perfect score of 10/10 for environmental performance concerning its carbon emissions policy. JCDecaux's overall score of 6.7/10 significantly surpassed the sector average of 4.2/10.
This repeated recognition reinforces JCDecaux's standing in sustainability practices. In 2020, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) maintained the company's "A Leadership" status for climate change initiatives, and FTSE Russell included JCDecaux in its FTSE4Good index with a strong score of 4.6/5.
"The acknowledgement of our sustainability strategy by extra-financial rating agencies demonstrates the excellence of our environmental, social, and governance practices, as well as our ongoing commitment to ensuring transparency towards our stakeholders," stated Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and Co-Chief Executive Officer of JCDecaux.
