JCDecaux awarded advertising contract for Western Sydney International Airport
JCDecaux has won a tender to develop a digital out-of-home advertising network at Western Sydney International Airport (WSI). The contract begins upon the airport's opening in October 2026.

Outdoor advertising company JCDecaux has secured a contract to manage advertising at the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI). The long-term agreement involves the design and deployment of a digital out-of-home advertising network.
The airport, set to open in October 2026, is a significant new infrastructure project for Western Sydney. It is designed to handle both domestic and international flights, with an initial capacity for 10 million passengers per year. Airlines including Qantas/Jetstar, Singapore Airlines, and Air New Zealand are confirmed to operate from WSI.
JCDecaux will install premium digital advertising assets throughout the airport's internal and external areas. In the period leading up to the opening, the company will collaborate with airport management and launch partners to offer brands an early opportunity to connect with travellers at the new hub.
Simon Hickey, CEO of WSI, stated the partnership presents "a unique opportunity for businesses and brands to reach a diverse and highly engaged audience of domestic and international travellers." Jean-François Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and Co-CEO of JCDecaux, noted the contract allows for the development of a "premium digital airport media network from the ground up" at Sydney's new gateway.
