JCDecaux extends advertising contract for São Paulo Metro through 2036
JCDecaux has renewed its advertising concession for São Paulo Metro lines 1, 2, and 3 while adding line 15 to its operations through February 2036.

Outdoor advertising firm JCDecaux has finalized an agreement to extend its advertising concession with the São Paulo Metro. The deal covers lines 1-Blue, 2-Green, and 3-Red, and incorporates the 15-Silver line, extending the total partnership duration to February 2036.
The contract, which takes effect in February 2026, allows JCDecaux to manage advertising across approximately 70 stations, serving a daily passenger volume exceeding five million people. The agreement is tied to an ongoing initiative to digitize and modernize advertising infrastructure across the network, which currently features over 1,050 faces.
Co-CEO Jean-Charles Decaux cited Brazil’s advertising market as a key driver for the group's digital strategy, noting that digital assets account for more than 70% of JCDecaux’s revenue in the country. The company has operated in Brazil for 27 years, managing a portfolio that includes street furniture, supermarkets, and major transport hubs.
This expansion solidifies JCDecaux's presence across all active metro lines in São Paulo, maintaining its role as a primary operator in the region's urban transport advertising sector.
