JCDecaux Launches London-Based Digital Creative Hub
Outdoor advertising company JCDecaux has launched a new digital creative hub in London named JCDecaux Dynamic. The hub will focus on developing digital content and technical creativity for out-of-home advertising.

JCDecaux, a global leader in outdoor advertising, has launched a new digital creative hub in London called JCDecaux Dynamic. This new entity will focus on the creative and technical aspects of digital out-of-home advertising, aiming to provide clients with more contextually relevant and innovative campaigns.
The company, which operates 49,300 digital screens across 30 countries, is bolstering its capabilities by recruiting key talent from the advertising agency BBH. Alex Matthews, formerly head of creative technology at BBH, has been appointed managing director of JCDecaux Dynamic. Rick Burgess, previously a technical lead at BBH, has been appointed as CTO.
Matthews will oversee the launch of JCDecaux Dynamic, develop its product and service offerings, and establish creative production capabilities. Burgess will lead the technical team and ensure the development of necessary technologies. Both individuals will commence their roles on February 1st.
This expansion into digital creative services aligns with JCDecaux's strategy to enhance its digital offering. The company anticipates significant growth in digital advertising, forecasting that it will account for 50% of its UK revenue by 2017. This move follows JCDecaux's recent acquisition of a major contract for advertising screens on London's bus shelters.
