JCDecaux SE has been awarded an exclusive contract by STIB, the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company, to manage advertising spaces within the city's public transport network. The agreement, spanning an initial 8 years with two additional 2-year options, commences on February 26, 2026.

The renewal includes significant upgrades to station infrastructure. JCDecaux will deploy 180 to 200 new digital information screens in 26 STIB stations, replacing existing furniture. The contract also covers the operation and maintenance of advertising space on approximately 1,300 trams and buses, alongside 900 analogue displays and 1,500 frames within 69 metro stations. Brussels' public transport system serves nearly 400,000 daily commuters and has seen substantial ridership growth.

JCDecaux highlighted its commitment to technological advancement and sustainability, with new screens designed for energy efficiency and better environmental integration.
